Thursday's
game was actually a round 4 catch up game between the 2 Oceania
Champions League teams, Auckland City & Team Wellington. It was
Auckland City who edged it 1-0 with a late goal.
3-1 was the scoreline of the week. The Phoenix lost 3-1 in the
A-League game in Christchurch, the curtain raiser was Canterbury
United v the Weenix and Canterbury won 3-1. Auckland City went 7
points clear and extended their unbeaten run in the ASB Premiership
to 23 games with a 3-1 over Hawke's Bay United. Team Wellington got
their first win in 5 games with, you guessed it, a 3-1 win over WaiBOP United.
Only Waitakere United broke the mold with Sean Lovemore getting a
hat-trick in a 6-0 demolition of the increasingly more hapless
Southern United
With the
news of $50 million being gambled on this league in Asia, the NZ

Here are

Goal of

Hawke's Bay United
Goalkeeping
howler – Lewis Italiano what were you doing letting the ball run

Panhead Vandal NZ IPA (8%)
Now I
tried these after a couple of other beers and I can't really make out
what my notes said! These were quite similar beers with the Sauvin
Bomb being quite tart while the Vandal was slightly sweeter. If you
don;t like hoppy beers don't drink these, but if, like me, you do
then these are great beers. A 3-3 draw is the result.
